'D is for Design' Winner and Commended
It’s time folks!
Are you ready?
First a quick recap – we had 156 wonderful creative people submit a total of 1440 designs to the @giftedcompetitions ‘D is for Design’ Alphabet brief. We we’re staggered by the amount of entries and support for the competition.
From the 156 entrants we selected 25 finalists, @alexandra.butcher @alicegriffin @alicepotterillustration @ameliaellwood_design @augustakirkwoodillustration @chazzyb.design @chloehy_print @d.histoire @elp_print @figandfossil @gemmaalisonpaterson @han_bamboozle @iamsebwestcott @k.busquets @karen_vermeulen_illustration @kimberleyrawe @leahbrideauxillustration @meghanncrawford @nicholacowdery @patternsbykatie_ @pheebdrawsstuff @sisondesigns @tayiarosedus @textilesbyjosie @zarahillustration
Judging the final 25 was difficult but fun, and unanimously decided upon a clear winner. We loved her interpretation of the brief and clever use of the letters, creating a fabulous range with a consistent overall look.
So without further ado…
…the winner is,
Alexandra Butcher. You can see Alexandra’s entries over on her Instagram – @alexandra.butcher
A huge congratulations to Alexandra, who will receive a cash prize of £500 and a months paid placement.
We would also love to congratulate our commended winners Leah Brideaux & Nicola Cowdery who made the final decision that much more difficult.
Thanks again to everyone who took part. Without you we wouldn’t have a competition at all.
We’ll be announcing our next competition brief soon, so stay tuned 🙂
