Bibi
Bibi studied Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design at Leeds college of Art. She exhibited at New Designers in 2016.
After being asked to join us on a two week placement she continued to freelance for Hallmark & Tigerprint. As of the beginning of March, Bibi turned full time on the Ideation Team as Creative Development Assistant.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Spontaneous – optimistic – chatty!
What has been your biggest achievement since starting here?
Being able to put my personal style and taste aside and think more commercially. It can be hard but totally makes sense!
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced?
Going to university as a mature student (40).
What advice would you give new designers wanting to break into the industry?
Be ready to do everything and get your hands dirty and be polite and outgoing – and try new things!
What would your superpower be?
To make people happy – and to be able to grow diamonds of course.
