Judging at New Designers
Each year, New Designers offers a collection of industry awards to recognise outstanding talent at the show. The awards run over both weeks and range in their opportunity.
Hallmark also offer an award each year. Our winner will receive a £500 cash prize, along with a 2-month paid placement and free accommodation near our Bradford studio. Not a bad deal, and you will gain a wealth of knowledge from our amazing design studio.
The judging panel have a really enjoyable, and often challenging day picking their champion. They only have a morning to get around everyone so don't be offended if they don't stop to chat.
What a judge looks for…
- Be ready! Make sure your stand is complete.
- Be at your stand! Judging starts at 9am!
- Focus on what you are presenting.
- Have your portfolio to hand!
- Don’t be offended - judges don’t have too long to chat.
- Be patient.
- Have a good business card with up-to-date images.
- Do your research!
