Looking for the latest Gifted? brief? We'll be launching our next competition towards the end of today! Not long now...stay tuned!

We run six Gifted? briefs a year to help recruit the very best and brightest new talent. The competitions are aimed to nurture commerciality, creativity and skill.

Entry is open to students, graduates and established designers. As long as you're 18 and above you can join in. All you have to do to part of Gifted is sign up and then show us what you can do.

Each brief can cover a wide range of sends, so carefully consider your customer, what message do you want your designs to give and what is the emotional connection between the sender and the recipient. We love to see all kinds of designs. It’s a great opportunity to use your imagination and a challenge for you to design fun, commercial designs that are on trend, different to what we have already and in your unique style.

Think about the trend, what is the most popular theme e.g. animals, characters, editorial, pattern and colour?

Be brave! You can use a variety of techniques from pen & ink, watercolour, collage, photography and new illustrative, graphic, and 3D styles. You may want to add value to your designs with finishes, scanned textured papers, photography or add-ons.

Also consider interesting compositions, scenarios that tell a story, editorial that works with the layout and beautiful and fun colour combinations.

The winner of each brief set will receive £200. We also run a yearly competition brief in association with New Designers where the winner receives £500. This brief will go live during our time at the exhibition in London.

How to submit

Submissions are online via our uploader.

First you will need to Sign up. As soon as you've signed up you'll receive a password for the upload page. Simply head over to the upload page when you're ready, enter the password and follow the instructions.
